I agree. He creeps the shit out of me, it's like some sort of animated monster from my darkest nightmares sprang to life and is singing with two voices, one of which he tore out of a woman's throat.

That's the one that I first saw. Oh god.

HE CAN'T STOP. HE CAN'T STOP HIMSELF.

I feel like he's going to drive hideous pincers into my chest, eviscerate me, and dance in my entrails.

Singing.

bad moon rising by sonic youth

what really scared me was 'confusion is sex.' i distinctly remember not wanting to listen to it because it was freaking me out (in the car, in the middle of the day... haha). of course, it grew on me and it's become a little less scary over the years. now it's one of my favorite sonic youth albums.

That's a wonderful CD.

I'd like to submit two:

1 - Swans "body to body, job to job" - i've never gotten thru the whole album once. i can only take a few songs at a time.

2 - not sure if it counts, but "the ghost orchid: an introduction to evp" album is a chilling listen. it's not technically music, but it's in that category with records like the conet project and sounds of american doomsday cults. they are cd's that are just really hard to listen to.
