The For Carnation lacking power? Blasphemy! Its an exercise in restraint and beauty. I would also argue that McMahan's singing voice got a lot better (i.e. more confident) during the For Carnation years. That ST record wasn't that long ago; its entirely possibly Slint reunion could be half decent.

A little birdy told me that she actually sent them a letter in response to the inquiry on the back of the record.
