It was me.

I was concerned that your studio is all digital these days. I did this to warm up your recordings.

Well, I don't know if someone's got it in for you, but they certainly have known, up to this point, that you haven't been locking your doors.

At this point, locking your doors might not help much. Consider installing motion detectors, an alarm of some sort, and getting a big, mean dog. The dog, especially, will make someone think twice about entering your home when you're not there.

At least they haven't stolen from you. That is an indication that at least they don't have any ill will towards you. Sounds to me like a homeless person just looking for a temporary shelter, and trying to feel a little more civilized by staying clean and eating a hot meal.

Mike,

That's probably just the Nashville, IN welcoming comittee. I'm sure you heard how it is in those parts when you moved in.

Since it is Indiana it could be a now homeless member of the "King Family" they lost their big gig at the State Fair. Or perhaps it's Jim Neighbors on his way to the 500 just dropping in to say howdy.

But I am still betting on ghosts, could be the soul of biker that crashed his bike in the bottomless blue hole lake aka gravel pit.

Well the ghost thing is not entirely out of the question, and is actually what makes the most sense.

The house and the studio were built by the same guy. They are located across the street fro an abandoned ski resort, and the studio was originally a ski shop.

Several years ago when i still lived in the studio weird things happened all the time. The weirdest thing was on the morning following a HUGE snow storm. It was the most snow Nashville, IN had ever received since I've lived there. We had about 2' of snow overnight, and I couldn't even open the front door.

Anyhow, that morning I awoke to my cats going completely nutty. They were darting all around the place as if they were running from something. They kept look up into the air, hissing, swatting at something and then running and hiding. This went on for while. It was so fucking crazy that I was sure that they seeing something I could not see, and my guess was it was a ghost, and that it had something to do with the crazy snow storm.

So I called my landlords, who are the current owners of my home and studio, and a real swell people. I asked if anything strange ever happened at the studio, like someone dying, specifically in extreme weather such as this.

As it turns out, many years ago there was a very serious snow storm simlar to the one we had. The weight of the snow on the roof of the building that is now my studio was causing the roof to sag, so the guy that built the building climbed onto the roof to shovel the snow off. Before he could finish he had a heart attack. He was found dead on the roof several days later.

My guess is he was a pretty decent guy, 'cause all of his shenanigans are relatively harmless. Like once he stacked our drummer's throne up on top of his drums. But the stove thing is pretty shitty. Why would he do this? That's the only thing that doesn't make sense... he doesn't seem like the kind of ghost that would do that.

Since the hot mark on your roof was shower shaped and not person shaped and the stove being turned on would be irrelivant to a ghost who would not be cold. I would wonder if you have someone living in the abandoned ski resort across the street from you. They would be able to see if you had left your house. I would call up Scooby and Scrachy and get some haunted hunting going on.
