No better or worse than any other genre/scene at the end of the day. Indie kids are just as funny as metallers and the rest. If you can hear some good tunes and have a laugh at some scene types at the same time, it's all good. These new metal/indie crossover hair cuts like the melvins have piss me off. It's fine for the melvins to have them on stage, but when some cunt with a 3 foot afro stands in front of me in the audience it pisses me right off.

I watched Headbangers Ball the other night. First time in about 10 years.

Nothing has changed.

Everyone looks like WWF wrestlers and fake drums with AmpFarm guitars.

Still designed for kids who hate their parents.

If you're basing your knowledge of metal on what is played on the current Headbanger's Ball, you're flying blind.

Whoever thinks the Melvins are not metal is either a total dumbass or a total ignoramous. Either way they're totally wrong.

The Melvins aren't metal and YOU are wrong. How do I know? Because you said The Melvins are metal.

Well, those observations are based on my personal experience. Everyone I meet who likes Metal is odd. That's okay, I get on with everyone I ever meet so it's all cool.

The poll is, do I think Metal is stupid and since the point of this forum is gut-reaction, yeah I think it's stupid. That's just me, do what you want.
