3am Eternal with Extreme Noise Terror is great. Maybe I should upload it.
YES !!! Upload it please.
I originally voted crap, then I went to their Wiki. Um, they were Discordians. That puts the music in a new light. Uh, they did all kinda crazy shit I had no idea about. Wow. And that 3AM w/ ENTerror sounds cool, there's a little clip of it on Wiki. I stand corrected. NC!

I think maybe that was the point, that they were shite. Knowing more about them seems like their KLF stuff was not intended to be great music but bulldada.

45 is such a good read. The Manual is great, but ultimately it is their best joke as their number one was perhaps the most random and shakily-planned moment of their career.
There is so much to like about Drummond and the KLF that I don't know where to start in a post about it. The vitriol he pours on the Residents, the parodic music, the attacks against patronised art and ENT performance at the Brits.
I wish I could work out whether the dischordianism was serious or just another spiteful prank.
Julian Cope is Dead! I shot him in the head!

When they split up, they deleted their back catalogue. That is astonishingly not crap.

The music itself = CRAP.
The extra-curricular activities = NOT CRAP.
Apparently, they are a huge influence on Canadian hardcore punk band Fucked Up.
Discuss.

I just took part in a performance as part of The 17
http://www.the17.org/
It was fucking not crap.
It was in this plush recording studo in Soho normally used for spoken word stuff / talking books, that sort of thing. Mr Drummond waffled on very entertainingly for about an hour about the death of recorded music before we started. About 2 minutes into the performance i was struck by the realisation that he was taking the piss. After 20 minutes I realised he wasn't.
The end product was incredible. But nobody will ever hear it because he destroyed it as soon as the playback finished.
Not Crap
we did score 4, by the way
