It was actually Mrs Surfrider who did this poster but i really love it. She's a talented gal alright. And it was right around the time PINK was being readied for release too.

That is indeed Mr. Hutler. I imagined it as Sixto Lezcano himself, but a Baseball Fury is actually a bit more terrifying. I have no idea what all the little type says anymore.

Sixto and the Shiny Ghostes were both really great bands. I miss them all the time.

here's the only poster i've ever made, it was a few years ago. sort of meh, but i was pretty hyped.


i rather like germwar's drawings. i can never get beyond just one character and come up with a whole scene, although i'm feeling inspired to try, it seems like it requires a certain amount of vision. i also like peripatetic's poster... it's sort of silly and neat, and took a sec to realize what it even was, but that's part of the fun.

Thanks, Ezra. I'd waaay inadvertantly turned this into a poster art thread, which was not my intention. I want to see all kinds of drawing. It just so happens that show flyers has been most of what I've been drawing lately, and that's gotta expand.
