I've seen Sunn 3 times now. Once it was really loud, once it was kinda quiet (on purpose i think) and the other was meant to be loud but wasn't so much. Maybe it depends greatly on the room?

I don't see what all the fuss is about though. The loudest i saw them was actually not a great gig because there was really nothing going on beneath all the volume, plus there was a fool with corpse paint doing 'scary' vocals. Total shit. Then he left the stage and it got really good for the last 10 minutes because there were actual riffs and stuff amidst all the volume. Really good at the very end when they switch everything off at the exact same time. Nice touch.

The best i saw them was the quieter show, but it did just seem like Earth but not as good really.

It's interesting to hear they vibrate their amps to breakage being that Model Ts are no longer made. Infact, i'm not sure i totally believe that whole thing to be honest.

I too have seen these so called hipsters leaving Sunn gigs after 3 minutes. 12 pounds well spent i imagine.

With regards to the Boris thing? I reckon a good Boris show beats a regular Sunn one. A shit Earth gig beats both combined.
You're a shit DM and i want my pizza money back.
