Elephant has been in my head for 2 days now. I was at band practice last night and between songs I was playing Bob's catchy basslines from memory. Bob, good basslines, man. The ending of Elephant high up on the neck just slays me everytime I hear it.
Thank You Shellac!

Question for Shellac: Did you have Jay Ryan write Kittypants for you? Designing a cover wasn't enough of Jay, eh?
Thank You Shellac!

I'm digging the new line on this one... "a coke coke coke coke inspa-raeh-shan.. a coke coke coke coke.. a goo goo goo goo"
i feel like there are more shoutouts on this album than in the past.
Yeah I immediately zoned back to that McLusky song - 'The World Loves Us and is Our Bitch'.
i can't speak for him, but i bet you just made bob's day.
funny, i was thinking the exact same thing about mclusky
Thank You Shellac!

I'm telling you, listen to 'Spoke' and 'Light Sabre Cocksucking Blues' back to back.

"be prepared" is fanfuckingtastic, best song on the album
I have to say. this album sounds great as a whole, I can't skip lullabelle i think it's brilliant, and enjoy anticipating the crushing return of it's original thought. kerble this if you must but is that Giovanna Cacciola at the end of lullabelle?
I don't know what EIG thread to post in anymore
edit: oh, there's a cd in here too. hah! had no clue. im guessing it's blank...

SALUT!
Maybe they'll even manage something in time for your 40th birthday. Think about that.
Here's to 2014!
