"Indian Summer" by Beat Happening.

I have only listened to it twice in my life. Twice is plenty.

At some point I started paying attention and came to the realization that this is the gayest, lamest song EVER recorded in the history of recorded music. No doubt about it. He's rapping at one point over some strum-strum acoustic guitar funk, then this disgusting chorus with lyrics that make no sense whatsoever just random words.
It's absolutely pristine in it's lameness, just a focused laser of gay.
It was a big hit, I guess.

So tell me, what's your vote for lamest song you've ever heard in your entire life?
I must limit this to actual bands, no pop starlets or Celine Dion whatnot.
Actual bands who sat down and wrote a song.

I was thinking about this at work the other day! I was making copies...and I was like..."Jesus Christ, I can't believe those guys actually wanted to make that music." I thought specifically of what must have gone into writing "One Week."

It reminds me of this story of a friend of mine in high school who loved the Barenaked Ladies...she was at a concert of theirs (this is probably still her all time favorite band...I haven't talked to her in eons) and one kid just threw up the middle finger and held it there like the "thumbs-down" guy in This Is Spinal Tap. Anyway, they call the kid onstage to like...combat the hate or something. I guess the band diffused the situation...but it made me wish that I had been that kid. I would have done something to get the best of those shitheads.

I can't think of what the fuck I would do though. I suck.

Lamest song? Probably that one they played on KISS FM all the time in 1999...it was like..."She likes me for me! [high voice]not because[/high voice] I look like Tyson Beckford, with the charm of Robert Redford, oozing out my ears."

Come to think of it, it's a lot like "One Week."

Fuck everything (edit: and everyone. Ever).

I don't know exactly, but it's a recent "hit". I think it's a Kelly Clarkson song.

I'd ram my dick down her throat covered in Wasabi if I could prevent myself from hearing it every fucking time I go food shopping.

Those guys are really horrible. Is the song you're talking about the one that says something like its been...one week since you looked at me, etc?

I hate the one where he talks about the Chinese chicken more. I used to have to hear that all the time in college. It was very popular. Not with me though.

That's the same one.

oh man. that part when he goes:

'like kurosawa i make mad films
'kay i don't make films
but if i did they'd have a samurai'

makes me want to kill. it is so awfu<FLsdbhwileufgblsjkbgflskfbg.lasfkbgjsdfjkbg

CUNTS.
