Underrated Guitarists....

24
I was thinking about starting this thread to complement the overrated thread, but someone beat me to the punch!

lessee...

John Fahey (no one moves me like Fahey)
Eddie Hazel (Two words: Super Stupid)
Ted Falconi (the original and greatest noise guitarist, no one will ever be fit to tie his shoes)
Andy Gill (one of the most influential guitarists ever)
Bruce Gilbert (a great rhythm player, and very diverse)
Thor Eisentrager (took Ted Falconi's innovations and melded them with drunken blues)
Norman Westberg (the heaviest guitarist ever...)
Brett Bradford (why this guy isn't mentioned more often astounds me)
Charles Bullen (see above)
Neil Young/Danny Whitten (don't even think about mentioning Frank Sampedro - no guitar team since has matched their interplay...true musical conversation)
Trey Spruance (a truly phenomenal guitarist)

these luminaries are all I can think of for right now.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.

Agreed, was listening to '74 Jailbreak this morning. Malcolm NEVER EVER gets mentioned.

Thirded. That man is a rock. He is as rock as it gets.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and add Ross The Boss.

Then I'm gonna duck and cover and add James Williamson.
That dog won't hunt, monsignor.
