Telecaster-to-humbucker suggestions?

i got a seymour duncan little 59 for the bridge position of my tele, and tbh, it's a load of shit.

there's a dude on ebay.co.uk, who handmakes pickups i got some humbuckers from him and they fucking rule.

he makes single coil sized p90's for telecasters. they are actually pretty cheap cost around £30 per pickup or something, so i'd recommend giving them a try, have a search around for catwhiskers.

Telecaster-to-humbucker suggestions?

Yeah, that's the Tele I was talking about. It's Pen Rollings' old Tele that he bought from Mac from Superchunk.

Jesus Christ, why do I know this shit? I'm such a dork.

Anyway, the pickups that he used in his Tele and both of his Les Pauls is the Rio Grande "Bastard," which is their humbucker-sized P-90. I'd imagine that the "Dirty Harry" in a Tele would sound pretty close.

In relation to the Hot Snake sound, I want more 'snicky' blasting through my amp's 'blare'. Does that actually effectively communicate anything?

Yeah, you kind of lost me.

I don't know which album you checked out, but a good chunk of Audit In Progress was recorded with AC30s. I think the majority of their other records were JCM800s.

I spend way too much time on the Swami message board.
