Brooklyn Lager is my daily drinker. I have a dozen in the fridge right now. The bottles used to vary a bit, but that was about 8-10 years ago.

I like hops... but the hops they use have a dish-detergent bitterness I just can't get down with.

And they aparently support Ratner in hopes to have their brew sold at the pending arena...

Try Blue Point Toasted Lager... a tad smokey and lacks the offending soapy finish of the Bklyn Lager.

If stout is normally like deep dark smokey sausage then Guinness is like a simple grilled skirt steak.

Thick, malty and meaty minus the briney, salty, savory body of other stouts...

Still very good... but it's got it's own thing going on.

I used to like the Brooklyn Brown but this is totally true... it's hard for my body to process and subsequently I've lost my tast for it.

Anybody try Yuengling Porter? Hardly a good porter but a good afternoon reheasal version.

You think? I've found Victory is exactly like that but BL isn't. Weird.

That one doesn't do much for me. It doesn't suck, but I won't spend money on it when given a choice.

I forgot about Black Label. That shit is satanic.

Black Label sucks but you can get a 24-case for like 13$
