with the lifespan of a Honda civic...just make sure when you look, you look at transmission fluid levels and color/smell(do this for all vans). If it smells like shit, the tranny hasn't been properly maintained.( I know what that sounds like)...
Also when you head out on the road, in addition to the coolant check, and coolant pressure check - make sure you get a tranny service (don't pay more than $80 for this)...this will also buy you a round trip ticket.

The only way to make this thread title creepier is if the word mini is in front of the word van.

I've always been happy with our Econoline. Definitely one of the best purchases we made as a band. Way better investment than the thousands of bucks we paid that shitty PR company.

If you can find one in your price range, that's the one you want.

The Chevy vortex engines are bulletproof with routine maintenance.*Edit: Oh and motherfuck a Dodge.Pretty sure the old Champeen van was a Dodge. Before the first time I rode in it, they said "Just so you know, there is a small exhaust leak into the cabin."

Bump.I'm in a new band and we're thinking about getting a van for touring. But we don't really know what we're doing and we don't have that much saved for a van.Basically all we want to get is something cheap which won't break down in the middle of the highway or something.Would one like this be good? http://madison.craigslist.org/cto/4529344453.htmlAre there any tips you guys have, in addition to the tips here in this thread?
