I specifically remember Ishmael was a regular forumite though.

Edit - I guess I got this impression from Chris' post here. Now I think about it, Kerble and Angus Jung were always on good terms so Ishmael being abusive to Kerble doesn't make a lot of sense. I guess we don't know who he was after all. Kerble probably does because he can see whether his IP matches another forumite. Wouldn't count on him telling us though.

I remember "Ishmael" did a poll on Angus Jung sometime last year. Which kind of rules out the possibility, unless the guy suddenly went ahead and put a considerable portion of his head up his ass.

I miss Jung on here, too. Super funny guy and we were into a lot of the same bands. Plus I got to make fun of his soul patch.

I too thought that Ishmael was an embittered Angus Jung.
I think 'Angus' was a big Moby Dick fan.

But obviously another cranky sumbitch with a good familiarity of the board. Some things were carried a bit far, but for the most part, I like(d) Ishmael.

I heard Angus Jung was just a sockpuppet forum name where only the moderators had the password. When BRW passed the role of Moderator to Kerble, they had to change it. I didn't think it was true until I went to Wal-Mart and the guy in the pictures in the picture frames they were selling looked exactly like the guy AJ claimed to be in the 'let us see you' thread.
