But then I found out that koalas ain't hard like Shellac; they some mark-ass bitches.
HAHAHAH!
But seriously, Mr. Trainer was banned from PRF? That would make Shellac best band ever. Poor drummers!

I should point out that this is entirely based on a vague memory of mine...we need Kerble to confirm/deny this really...

Todd singing "Novelty" at the NYE show at Lounge Ax was the highlight of the night. He had the Ian Curtis arm flailing down pat.

What's with all this anamocity toward drummers who sing? I sing and happen to play drums at the same time while making music with two other fellows who happen to play in a group with me named Bear Claw. There are other drummers who sing that are great as well. Somebody already mentioned Arcwelder. All I'm saying is that there are a bunch of bands that have drummers that sing who most of us haven't probably heard or can't think of. You can't group all drummers who sing simply in a crap or no crap category with out making an opinion on each one in each setting. Just my opinion...

Isn't that kind of the point of c/nc?
As far as I'm concerned, if a singer is good they're good...whether they play guitar, drums or harp...

Singing drummers have this weird disabled look to them if they have the mic to the side, or they look like Madonna on the Blonde Ambition tour if they have a 'headmic'. I try and overlook it but it's there and I can't deny my thoughts. Sorry.

+1
I sing and drum at once. Maybe i suck, but no one's said it to my face yet.
There used to be a fantastic band from Minneapolis called Selby Tigers. Their drummer, Dave, was a great singer.
Also from Minneapolis: The Soviettes. Pretty decent singing drummer in that band.
Throw in Arcwelder and Minneapolis must be the land of magical singing drummers.

Die Ärzte.
The drummer stands while playing, too.
