Man, I'm starving.
Some cheese garlic bread dipped in olive oil sounds ridiculously good right now.

I was watching some cable food show today, and a blurb came on about some other food show called "The Feasty Boys".

Two big fat guys who do a lot of cooking, mostly barbecue and other typical male-oriented cooking, and, by the looks of them, a lot more eating.

They were talking about their "4 B's" for cooking:
beer, butter, bacon, and, there "better be cheese".

I don't think salt should even count, because you should be putting a pinch of salt in damn near everything you cook. 99% easily.

So other than salt? Yeah, olive oil for sure. If I cook in a pan, I almost always use olive oil (or a combo of olive oil and butter/bacon fat).

Finally cooked a dinner tonight with no olive oil though. Asian flounder en papillote. Sesame oil instead. Turned out damn good and incredibly easy.

Olive oil does have the disadvantage of its low burn temperature.

Olive oil or sea salt. I also go through unhealthy amounts of soy sauce too, but I've been curbing that habit lately.

How people can smother their food in mayo has always puzzled me as well.

Real mayo is awesome, though.

I'd smother everything that I ate in hollandaise sauce if I could.

My wife was buying an oil burner in Greece a few years back. She asked the guy what kind of oil she should burn in it. He replied most of the shitty olive oil that you buy from the supermarket in the UK!.

Olive oil in the med does taste better.
