C'mon man you fucked up the joke. It's supposed to go, "What do you call that useless flap of skin around the vagina?"

Oft-repeated urban myth which might be true - a foam mic pop shield is sometimes called a spoffle.
Foam covers on the end of the mics that prevent "popping" (Definition: Origin: comedian Hugh Laurie, by way of comedian/author/actor Stephen Fry, by way of Patrick A. Keane.)
My P's and B's sound too sharp. Is there a spoffle around
Allegedly invented on the spot by Hugh Laurie in a radio interview who spontaneously coined the phrase and noticed it was still in use when he next returned to the studio.

I make XLR cables for a living. Until recently, I had no idea that the plastic strain relief in an XLR connector was called a "chuck". Whatever, I'm only 23. You gotta learn some time.
I guess that's not such an everyday object for everyone, but I work with them almost everyday.

Oh, and get this. There is a draining duct in the eye called the nasolacrimal duct. It's primary function is to drain tears into the nose. Some claim that under the right circumstances, you can actually push air out through your eye. My ex-girlfriend said it happened occasionally when she sneezed or blew her nose. I still don't know if that's true, but it seems somewhat feasible.

This is the etymology for
taint as well. 'Tain't your balls, 'tain't your ass.
The corresponding region in a woman is called a
tisnt.
