I have a surefire flashlight. It's very bright like 60 lumens or something and has a narrow beam. I use it to see thru the popfilters, mesh screens and speaker coverings so I can determine exactly where capsules and speaker cones are. I also sometimes use it like a laser sight and line it up with the capsule so I can tell exactly where the mics pointing.
And sometimes I use it to temporarily blind the interns and steal their money. What'r they gonna do?
Not all that high tech.
Also it's pretty dark in here.
