for future reference, do you know of anywhere here in Seattle to buy said cables & ends (since Westlake Electronics is now effectively Woodinville Electronics)
they had really good prices, but I am convinced that there is nothing worth driving to woodinville for!

Nope. Westlake was the last hope for quality components that I know of. Guitar Center has a few things but I just don't think it's worth it short of an emergency. I like Markertek and BTX for online ordering. If you're ever ordering more than a few things, PM me and I may be able to help out or we could at least split shipping. I also work out here in the eastside hinterlands, so the new Westlake location isn't that far away if you'd rather eat sales tax than eat shipping costs.
