Not talking about the movies. I've seen video of the real thing. He's bona fide. Even my old sensei used to say, "That guy's a total douchebag, but he's a joy to watch."

what the hell? Seriously - only one vote for "not crap", damn.

His movies is at least as entertaining as any Lynch, Coen, von Trier film. In half the cases i would watch one of his (older) movies (given i knew i could watch the other one later) - sure you get dumber by watching them, but where else shall I go to see arms and legs break all the time, people gettin shotgun blasted in the balls and all that other good stuff mixed with good family values?

All of his work done untill around 2000 are instand classics.

By the way, statistically males get several point lower IQ test scores after having spend one night with a woman (its true) - you wouldnt avoid that now would you - hypocrits?

A guy I knew trained with him and confirmed that he was the 'real deal.' His fight scenes are very impressive, the movies are great comedies; better than most movies that are intended to be funny.

He's a super-douche, anyone remember the SPY magazine article on him?

He is the real deal. I know he trained for many years in Japan and speaks fluent japanease -- multible dialects (very impressive). The language part I have heard first hand from a friend who is was in Japan and saw him on television (my friend is a Japaease scholar who has studied the language and says mastery of more than one dialect is a feat).
