I tear up anytime I listen to DeBussy's La Mer or Khachaturian's Violin Concerto. Powerful music will do that.....except for the rock stuff, even stuff with the most impact doen't move me emotionally, much.

Last time the waterworks switched on was when I woke up in the middle of the night after having a dream my wife died. Even thinking about it now is making me uncomfortable. Freaky ass dream that was....

It sounds cheesy, but every year when It's A Wonderful Life comes on I'll just start tearing up. Depending on where I am, I'll either let it come or stop it up. It never fails.

Also, whenever I hear or see anything regarding the World Trade Tower attacks.

I actually cried watching Barack Obama's speech at the DNC, but I'm kinda a political geek like that.

Maybe I have some wierd sort of issue that I'm not quite up to being able to confront but I always cry near the of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back during the scene where Mark Hammil's character Cock Knocker gets his hand cut off. Ironically, I didn't cry during the almost uncannily similar scene in Empire Strikes Back. Do you think that maybe Kevin Smith , who is a diehard Stars Wars fan, was trying to spoof that scene? I'm sure that is one of the many mysteries of life that will remain unknown to me.

Every day since mid-April until about a week and a half ago. Shit is rough right now and I'm glad y'all make me laugh. I thought everything was smooth with my breakup handling until I saw Fahrenheit. Seeing the crap that those families went through combined with my predisposition to weeping as a way of dealing opened some floodgates that let me backslide in a severe way. Gotta good gameface, but occasionally, life is fairly disappointing.

Obama made me well up as well.
