AAAARRGH I HATE THIS PART OF LIFE

I totally wanted "NARWHAL" or "GNARWHALE" but they're taken

I wanted "PROLAPSE" but Nooooo it's taken

I thought "D CELL" would be cool cuz the singer's name is D and he's been locked up a hundred times but Nooo he didn't like that

And apparently there's some cunts calling themselves "Shellaque" or something like that

Question for steve: what should I name my band?

an incredible douchebag of the highest caliber has a band called narwhalz here in rva. god i hate that guy. i hope he's reading this. his other band fucking sucks too.

hey, hipster douchebag, i was behind you at chipotle the other day and it took every fucking ounce of restraint not to kick you square in the ass. you've really earned it just by me having to sit through your absolute shit music 3x*, and on top of that you standing in front of me at every show stinking up my fucking space with your funk and your fucking retarded fashion sense. dude, i was fucking standing there through your shit band so i wouldn't have to shove my goddamned way to the front, but oh, there's you in your ironic fucking mustache, bad haircut, lookin' like the 80's fuckin' threw up on you.

god, i hate you. play a real instrument, a modified gameboy is fucking stupid as shit. especially with 5 drummers.*

you fucking suck. go back to your middle of nowhere hometown, college kid.

if there's no way out, maybe the only option is to somehow improve on this horrible name, change it a little, so that it's still his original idea with a concession to the band.

i dunno Mechanical Appendage, something like that? Tingling Extemities?

be glad, the leader of the improvisors orchestra that i play with, formerly known as off orchester, decided to name us "the dorf". he's german & doesn't know about tim conway. there are like 23 people in the band, so it had to be a kind of proclamation from the top. the director's name is jan klare & he was gonna go by robot von klarajan, which is pretty awesome. "the dorf", eh, i want veto power.

Nah, I've already insulted the name back to the stone age.

At one point in life I was dead set on "Kill The Precedent" as a band name, but if we get Obama in the white house I don't want to be misconstrued.

Just fanning flames.

I went with the middle option. Piglet is an awful name, great band. The Mars Volta is horrible all around. I agree that ideally the name should incase the essence of the band. Municipal Waste should play big dirty thrash.

We named our skatepunk band FACEPLANT! Turns out some 311/RHCP/Primus-cock sucking nu-metal funk band from Texas used the name Faceplant before we were a band. So fucking what. They don't sound like a "Faceplant" to me.
