I'm amazed how an a posteriori discipline like the scientific method has been perverted to support or refute political positions. How did climate change become a "liberal" issue? Why is the right trying so hard to discredit it?

At a certain point in time, the evidence becomes so overwhelming that one lacks credibility by denying it.

Seriously. I mean, saying that he's all Makow is a bit of an exaggeration, but as an infrequent poster here, I can regularly predict what he'll post about just by doing my regular daily rounds on the "fringe" sites. But yeah, the anti-left slant does smack of Makow and his ilk.
