his album "enjoy your rabbit", based on the chinese horoscope, can be a weird surprise for his illinois/michigan stuff fans. it´s mostly experimental electronica, very fucked up record.

I haven't heard anything by this guy yet, but I was looking at his record the other day and noticed that his record label is in Lander, WY.

I like Illinoise quite a bit. I like Michigan a bit less. It seems to me like he's definitely getting better, but I also don't feel like he can pull off 50 records, seeing how similar the stuff from Illinoise seems to be to that of Michigan.

illinois is way too long. at 40-45 minutes i'd like it a lot more. that "john wayne gacy" song is good and i really like the line about the boys "with their cars, summer jobs, oh my gaaawwwddd."

I just got handed 'Illiniose' and 'Greetings from Michigan' from a friend and am really enjoying them especially The Man of Metropolis Steals Our Hearts. Sure it gets a bit too cutesy in parts but overall Not Crap.
