you wouldn't want to listen to it more than 3 times, but you would remember it in a warm gluey amber light 10 years later.
My wife was a freshmen in high school with her, when she was an artistic, unapproachable, and popular senior.

For those interested in seeing the train wreck that is Liz Phair today without paying for it, check out her self directed doc on herself this week on pitchfork tv. It's a hot mess. She basically goes around interviewing people about where they were and how their lives changed when her record came out. It's like watching Sunset Blvd.

Really?
Frankly I hear more discussion about Tiffany.

Maybe you should listen to the record...that way, you can actually discuss it.

To be phair I've never heard any of her music so I can't comment. Suppose I'll give her a listen now...
EDIT: Holy shit. Is
this representative of her ouevre?

That's representative of her attempt to be ashlee simpson. If you watch the doc she's pretty naked about being in it for the money. The only thing she's more interested in than cash as a subject is Liz Phair.

I'm pretty sure I'm not going to watch the documentary. I'd heard her name bandied around a bit but really knew nothing about her. The people I knew who liked her were in to that riot-grrrl stuff, so I was kinda expecting something like that. I was wrong.
