Let me start by saying I have two wonderful sisters and a great mom and I absolutely adore women, for a bunch of reasons, not just the obvious one.

I have to report that it's been my experience that they are not all crazy. The unfortunate truth is that the crazier they are, the better sex they are as well. Probably explains why I wind up with real nutcases.

How about this: I'm in a relationship that is long-term. Marriage and kids aren't out of the question but every time we differ on things (however minor) and she wigs out, I think about if it were a decision concerning kids or anything like that. Scares the shit out of me. help.

Pretty much anyone you have to spend a lot of time with will occasionally baffle or annoy you. This is regardless of everything, including gender.

No. And I am actually totally insane. Not a coincidence.

Everyone is crazy. OK? Everyone. With some people it's as extreme as bipolar disorder; with some it's less obvious and more insidious, like codependency; with still others it's relatively minor, like, i dunno, you pick your nose compulsively.

The key is to find someone who's specific brand of crazy works with yours and actually keeps you both sane, instead of combining with yours to form a continually-increasing feedback loop of batshit dysfunction.

What's *not* gonna help you is asking "are all women crazy?" What's gonna help is if YOU look in the mirror at YOURSELF to figure out why YOU are drawn to the specific type of crazy YOU are being drawn to, and then take steps to recognize that in the future and find a type of crazy that works with yours. Because believe it, dude--YOU ARE CRAZY. Why? You're in a relationship with someone who makes you miserable. THAT'S INSANE.

Don't dwell on what you can't control--other people. Work on yourself.

So, every time she annoys/baffles me into vertigo I just hit the SEX button? I mean, intentionally....?
