I use a banjo strap. It's leather and thin but it has a thicker leather pad which rests on your shoulder. I find it very comfortable. part of the reason I ended up with it was because I couldn't find a leather strap that was long enough that didn't have pictures of skulls, nude girls, or majuana leaves on it.

as far as Grolsch gaskets go, you get get them here for pretty cheap.

I use a tan canvas fender strap with leather ends on my tele. It's not pricey, looks swell and doesn't slide on my shoulder. That's important with a b-bender.
