I had to study some of this shit in college, all because I had a lecturer waaaaay in to 'cyber-studies' and feminism/sexuality in general. The proper name for this new technology is 'teledildonics', I kid you not.

Yeah I know about that (excessively creepy) branch of communication tech, but I'm pretty sure FU-FME was intended as a joke. It was a late '90s spoof of a popular early webcam application called "CU-SeeMe".
