2 shows at Schuba's coming up

So very very NC. I saw them slay at an inexplicably poorly-attended show at the 9:30 club in 1993 or thereabouts, around the time of Retreat from Memphis. Not the greatest record but a fucking killer performance (with Man or Astro-Man opening at that).

Still have the I [heart] Mekons shirt I picked up there, and as soon as I lose about fifteen pounds I'll be able to wear it again.

I am a bit concerned that these shows coming up are at Schuba's, I like to get REAL drunk when I see the Mekons and well, Schuba's...it's not that kind of place.

There's also a show coming up sometime at Bottom Lounge, not Mekons but Langford and Timms separately, along with other bands. It's an anti-death penalty benefit.
