the first time I ever heard Sun Ra, I think it was "Angels and Demons at Play," I came damn near close to shitting my pants. Either of the first two Red Krayola records. speaking of Slint, I heard "Spiderland" after I heard "Tweez," and absolutely hated it. my best friends older brother called me an idiot and told me to listen to it again before I sold it. He was right, I was an idiot. also Unwound's "Leaves Turn Inside You," still gets played at least 3 times a week.
