Shit, man, it just struck me that Chilton was nine years older than my Father. Nine years. 2010 is freaking me out as equally as it's making me sad.

So sorry for his friends and family. I never really investigated his music in detail, although i will now. I like the few songs i heard after Teenage Fanclub name-dropped him early on in their career. Damn shame. RIP Alex Chilton
