I have and love my regular ole' red gas mower. It's the Murray 20 classic. It's a great mower, not too much gadgetry, simple, easy to fix. It can sit around in the shed for a year unused, but once I put gas in it, it starts back up ready to chop some grass. Used to have another gas mower with more gadgets, and an (I think Murray) electric mower but both were too much of a hassle... something would go wrong and I'd just sit and stare at it for an hour. And they didn't chop grass any better than my regular mower. Go with a regular gas mower, no bells and whistles.

This is a multi-purpose thread for items you may need.I'll go first.recommend a Lawnmower. I don't have a huge yard, but it's starting to get out of control.I'm not averse to one of those push mowers. probably don't need gas, and the electric ones are kinda pricey.thanks!

I don't care if it's an upright or a canister, but I do need one of those wands that you can attach cleaning tools to (for blinds, in crevices, etc.) Anyone have a vacuum they are in love with?I just got a dirt devil breeze bagless. Fairly inexpensive, too. I've only had it for a few weeks, but it works smashingly. We use the same one at the math center, where we have lots and lots of carpeting, and that's been for almost a year of heavier use.anyhow, fuck a bagged vacuum.

Faiz, I use this Black and Decker electric mower for my small yards. It works beautifully and was not terribly expensive.
