I used to get nasty yellow pit stains on all of my undershirts, and even some tshirts that I was particularly fond of wearing way too often. I was complaining about it once and someone said "hey try to find some deodorant that doesn't have aluminum in it." So this was the only kind I could always find at any regular old store (like the grocery store, Target, Walgreens, etc) that didn't have aluminum in it. Pit stains: no mas! Also, side note, if you have pit stains on white undershirts, rub some dishwasher gel on them and run them through the wash a couple times. Not dish soap: dishwasher gel. It has bleach and potassium carbonate, eats away at everything. Pretty much gets rid of the stains. This will bleach out colors, though, so I haven't found a good way to get rid of pit stains on colors yet.And finally, go fuck yourself antiperspirant. Shoving little bits of metal into my pores and blocking a natural process--that can't be a good idea. Your body is supposed to perspire, to cool itself down. I'd love to avoid deodorant as well, but I get a nasty funk going on if I do, and that's just not something I want to subject society to.

Yeah I have been using the same ineffective, hippy deodorant for a couple years now. Combine this with also being a "sweaty motherfucker" and this thread has made me realize this shit just can't go on any longer. So far from this four page thread of relevant knowledge I'm leaning towards the Dove.simmo wrote:This. It's meant for birds but the smell is basically neutral and it is the most effective deoderant I have used by about a million miles. Could not recommend it more highly. But my armpit skin is chemically sensitive which was what originally got me using bullshit hippy pit rub due to developing rashes with some powerful and apparently toxic deodorant. Has anyone with sensitive pits used this Dove product? If not can one of my brothers or sisters from the sensitive pit community recommend me some deodorant that wouldn't give me a rash, but is fairly stink resistant?

Reliability of the highest caliber. Standout performance through and through. Doesn't sting when applied right after shaving. Never feels sticky. Keeps you bone-dry for a good while. Smells quite pleasant and fresh even when you forget and things get real funky down there, like an anaconda that vomited a partially-digested rat in its filthy water bowl and swam around in it for days.

No anti-perspirant, just deodorant from Trader Joe's or Tom's of Maine, the one that doesn't burn your pits off. I recall there being a thread about this someplace.
