My vinyl's not for sale but I see one of their 7"s is up on E-bay. I can't remember the b-side songs for the life of me but "I Do Not Know ..." is a killer tune. They still play it and even opened their Athens set with it a few weeks back.

When Paul Trudeau was the drummer, they opened a few shows for Shellac.

The guitarist/singer introduced the first song with this:

"This song will eventually become a mid-tempo rock song, but it will take about 11 minutes to get to there."

And with that, they started their set and plaster literally fell from the ceiling.

NOT CRAP.

Featuring a rhythm section comprised of Paul Trudeau on Dale Crozer-level numbs’n’concussion and Steven Tanner on sub-bass fury, remember never to invite these two to a summer sleep-over as their fly-swatting techniques would inevitably bring down the walls of your house.

heh

"The Pleaser" will be pressed on vinyl, gatefold with Live Pleaser.

DLPleaser if you will.

Henry from Chunklet is doing it (as well as replacing all the bad sounding pressings of 'Courtesy & Good Will...' with better pressings)

hopefully 'My Love Is Higher...' will follow suit after.

copped a bootleg of the drunken unicorn show... good lord.

It was excelsiorrrr

I did. I'm embarassed to say I had to leave a little early though. I was so exhausted from a combination of the flu and a heavy workload that week. I've become such a lightweight since I hit my thirties.

I did see all of the Caledonia Lounge show a few days prior, however, so I think I got a pretty good taste of Harvey Milk with Joe Preston. I just wish Paul was on drums this time around. I like Kyle as a drummer, but with this band I think Paul fits in a little more comfortably.

Edward, we met at the Nina Nastasia show at the 11:11 Tea House. Tall guy with glasses.

Is Kyle Spence playing with Harvey Milk these days? We went to high school together. Great drummer, but I would imagine he lacks the umph that Harvey Milk needs.

Yes, I remember meeting you, bigc. Hope all is well.

Kyle Spence is indeed back playing drums for Harvey Milk at the moment. Paul Trudeau was the drummer when they regrouped in 2005 or thereabouts until last year. Not sure why he left again. As it was when he left the first time around, the rest of the group turned to Kyle to be their drummer.
