I wonder if it would be worth it to get an aluminum neck for one of these eventually if I like it enough...

Is the bridge worth replacing? It seems odd.

It seems like the only non rad part of the bass, unless it isnt

Might have to get the old Backbreaker out and give it a go.Cool. Glad that guy is still in the family!Awesome sounding bass, but yeah, HEAVEY.Never had any issues with the playability of the neck, but I also have dumb giant hands and I've never been able to roll with a Jazz neck. Early 60's style P-Bass (the widest Fender bass at the nut) are the most comfortable for me to play, but I've also played a '62 style MIJ P for years, so I might just be used to it at this point.

I replaced it with the right switch within 24 hours of owning it and everything was A-OK. Did not affect the overall sound of the bass. It did sound noticeably different than Mat's black one.
