After listening to this about ten more times, I think this is her weakest album. Though, it's not bad. I thought the last two were as good as it gets, and Dogs was no slouch either. This one just seems to lack the cohesiveness of the other three; particularly the last two. I’m hesitant in saying this, but comparatively, she sounds a bit uninspired.

For now, it just sounds like a collection of ok-good songs. I'm really disappointed.

Positives:

*Her Voice is as strong as it's ever been.
*There are 3 or so songs that are good.
*It sounds good.



I hope to one day eat my words.

the one thing i have noticed about this record is that it is all acoustic. no electric instruments at all.

I kind of see what you are saying. Some of the record sounds a little too familiar and/or rehashed. Sort of. It's really wonderful though, and it may take more listens... to really get into the flow of it.
