I had a Cort bass that lasted me a good long while. It had a bad paint job. I stripped and sanded the bass of its paint. The wood turned out to be plywood. I used Shellac to finish it. It looks quite good now.

I used to drink beer while my friend played his Cort bass. We called it "Bud Cort."

shellac is awesome and i think the hole combo does it more than just the drummer but anyway...
