M.O.T.O. is a great band!
Catchy melodies
Funny songs
Interesting pop song structures
Good harmonies
Creatively mischievous lyrics
Loud guitars
This band is a blast. Not crap. I liked them before I knew even if they were great guys or not.

I havn't heard the new album yet ( And I think it would have been a hell of a lot more funny if they had gone with the title Led Zepplin IV instead of Raw Power) , but i love "kill MOTO".
Catchy ass Pop hooks that make me giggle.
I saw these guys at a basement show in madison a couple of months ago. I felt kind of bad because there were booked to play the union terrace the same night that the violent femmes were playing so of course MOTO gets the boot and has too play to 6 people in a hot/stinky basement.
Still a great show and funny as fuck....."Its so big it's fluorescent"....genius.

Got the "promo" version of their "Raw Power" CD in the mail a few weeks back -- what a load of crap. Total case of GGBB syndrome, after reading what y'all have stated about them (Great Guys, Bad Band).
Crap is crap, and M.O.T.O. is a big, steaming pile of it. But congrats on coming in fifth, guys!
Sorry you feel that way - if it makes you feel any better, the blowjob your girlfriend gave me wasn't all that great.

Paul! Welcome! Were your ears burning? Did you feel the love (except from that one guy who doesn't know squat anyhow)?

A friend told me to check it out, so I did. Very nice.
It looks like we'll be playing at UW-Madison on Sept 16, probably at Club 770 in Union South.

It's nice to know that you have evolved as a human being enough to accept criticism of your band that doesn't include outright worship. If your too high and mighty to watch your opening band, your CRAP, and wearing a leather jacket just makes you stink all that much more.

I think Paul was kind of joking around... plus, there are plenty of reasons why headliners don't watch opening bands -- sometimes a person just isn't in the mood, or they need to get a bite to eat, or they want to talk to friends that they never see... It's nothing personal. People in rock bands don't usually smell all that great anyway... I think your expectations are a bit off here.

I've never seen 'em live, but every recording of M.O.T.O. that I've heard I've liked. They're fun, and besides, my friend Tim plays drums for 'em, and what kinda guy would I be if I spoke ill of him? (He's a great drummer, too, so that isn't just charity.) Not crap.
