I don't own anything with dual HBs and a mahogany body, these were on sale, they get a fair amount of love from Gretsch fans (even the Japanese-or-GTFO crowd), and it's my birthday next week.

Digitech DSP 128+ just showed up. I assume it's named for how much it sucks out of 100. Which is why I bought it.

Yesterday at lunch I walked to the store to get a pack of cymbal felts. On the floor there was a gleaming fire-engine red Kay Speed Demon. For the first time since 2019 I tried out a guitar in a music store. Some things became immediately clear. Later after work, I went back to the store with a Jazzmaster that hasn't been making sense with my current Amp Story (plus I'm kind of done with vibratos). We did the trade (plus credit on my account) and now there is a red demon that lives at my house. Refinished incl. clear coat and refretted, but with original electronics. Dying to run this through stereo amps w/ a mic or two on the guitar body too.

I have another quarantine-era guitar project from the fall that I haven't posted about on the new board. Once that's wrapped up I'll get some nice pictures of everything.

Bought a Sennheiser e906 while Sweetwater has them for $70 off.

Also have a Catalinbread Epoch Boost on the way from a Memorial Day sale.

I should have bought the Shure SRH1840 headphones this weekend when MF had them for $100 off during their stupid deal of the hour. But I really need some monitors more.

Been thinking about buying one of those Radial Engineering Phazer units... to get a better room sound for guitar cabs. Other than that, maybe another vocal mic (I was checking out something called "Electro-voice") and I'm always looking at electric bass guitars and never quite finding the right one. I'm pretty conservative when it comes to spending money on gear, I start to feel guilty when I buy a nicer, more expensive version of something I already have.
