i didn't finish the sequel yet but i love those babysitter movies an believe bee would give her life to save cole .. the whole demonic thing is lame its almost a metaphor for sluttiness vs purity but she loves cole for being himself it's more than some simple purity reason to give an excuse for her to hang out with him i love their friendship lol and Bella throne was hilarious lol

bee kisses all the friends in a different way but it's all preserving coles gentle nature .. maybe i shouldn't recommend til i finish but i want to belieber in their friendship so much lol remember when justin beiber had that live concert dvd called belieber lol that's me haha

First half of this Irish-British exercise coasts along on wave after wave of terror and dread. Quite impressive for a first feature shot with a low-budget. Hardcore creeps. Second half finds the plot getting muddy. It's confusing, but ultimately I didn't care cos I was shitting bricks. Phenomenal acting! Lead actor Jonathon French accurately conveys pure terror when he's not creeping around looking like a musician from a band on Southern Lord.

You are going to get scared. Just don't expect much by way of a tight, sensible story. Enjoy the ride.

We watched the other night, loved it. I hadn't been that creeped out watching a movie since watching Dark and the Wicked. I liked that it didn't rely (or at least over-rely) on jump scares... just straight up eerie ass atmosphere. And there's a cute dog in it, so, bonus for that.

As an intense rain falls all over the world a group of strangers trapped at a bus station in Mexico City experience a strange phenomenon. Trust me, that's all you need to know going into this delightfully weird, creepy, and beautiful sci-fi/horror movie. The Rod Serling-like narration that bookends the film divulges the director's Twilight Zone fetish, and the stylized cinematography - black & white moving to monochrome/muted colors with visible grain, cigarette burns, and other distressed visuals - are gorgeous. Big time creep factor. Highly recommended. Loved it so much I went to find director Isaac Ezban's first film, The Incident, which is streaming nowhere. I need to watch it!

A 1930's framing of The Evil Dead. Could've been scarier, but I was entertained all the same.

A one-minute short staring David Cronenberg in collaboration with his daughter Caitlin. It is being auctioned as an NFT. To be clear it is an arresting short, but I don't understand the nature of NFTs and as such why it's being attached to this film.

Everything about that is miserable as sin. I'll just walk into traffic one day, and it'll be this shit proves the thing too far.

As for a pure filmmaking exercise I enjoyed it, but I've also kissed, cradled, and laid with a dead body. I am also part of a small minority who didn't like Possessor, so maybe I'm just rooting for Caitlin.

Hardly unknown, but we watched Malignant the other night. What a piece of shit movie.
