Reminds me of that wonderful instant as mushrooms kick in, and you receive sound with that bewildering extra clarity.

I am so very done with being negative. I want to focus on things that I like and people that wish me well instead of those that don't.

I am sad to see honest joy being put down again and again. I am sad to see others put themselves down and deny their dreams. I am sad to see myself being too afraid to be honest. I am tired of seeing us pretending - like we're above it all, like we're in control, like we don't care. It is sad to see and I am tired of it.

The wound we carry appears so deep, the situation so unfixable, it has gone on for so long. The more thought explores, the worse it gets. At the same time the answers appear to be within arms reach. New dawn seems able to emerge anywhere, at any time. And throughout it all there is the voice which resides in every human, saying "I am worthy of it all", "I am right to be me", "I want to love" and "I want life". A voice which is still not defeated.

Maybe I'm deluding myself. "All people are beautiful" I want to say, but I didn't consider that particular son of a bitch. What if that's just the way he is? How would I deal with that?

Still I have to continue hoping.
