This thread is all dudes--are there no women who post here, or are all y'all just camera shy?
Anyway...got my first Danelectro this week, a '59 Divine:
I now own four mid-priced guitars. Have enjoyed playing with this thing while getting my pedalboard back in order. Am working on another book (slowly) but have the urge to play rhythm guitar in someone else's non-bland band. I would not be donning jorts, though, on stage or in promo photos! Maybe I'll work on another recording of my own if I get restless enough/find the headspace.
Was looking for a proper stool--sturdy and short enough, but without wheels--that I could use for playing in front of my amp, and I ended up buying a Pac-Man stool (not pictured). So, while video games may not be fine art, they're are at least good enough to park my ass on. Not to mention fun to play, at times.
In general things have been well here, despite the usual familial bickering, which sometimes comes to a head; am stocked up on all the movies and books I'll need for a while, have all my X-mas shopping done, and we're bringing gifts to Toys For Tots soon; the weather's groovy and all that. HOWEVER, allergies are still dogging me like a mofo. On and off, everyday. I'll get a bike ride in, or a movie, or some playing, etc., but when the veil descends I gotta wait it out.
It is. Been playing it every day so far. Nothing serious, just tinkering and enjoying it.biscuitdough wrote:That looks like a fun guitar.
Can't blame them, all in all.I think very few women post pictures of themselves on public forums these days.
Never played any of the other models, but I've got a Double Agent (made in Korea) and do dig it. Reverend's a good company--affordable enough, stylish, decent tone, etc.--though I've heard the ones that were made in his garage are quite pricy now. Cheers!I have a ton of mid priced guitars. I’d actually like to sell off most of them and get a Reverend baritone...
