I love them all but I remember when End Hits came out. I was in high school and I got the CD the day it came out. Then later the band played in Orlando and I called out "Arpeggiator" and they played it. So that record has a special place in my heart.

This made me very cheery, 12 year old kid from Kildare (just outside Dublin in Ireland) got to interview Ian Mackaye for his youtube channel

How do you not smile at that?

End Hits for me, my favorite of theirs and one of my favorites period. That's a very stoney record IMO, especially for a bunch of straight edge dudes.

I really like the argument as well, especially Guy's songs, dude is a really inventive songwriter and guitarist.

Steady Diet, it's the only one I still regularly listen to. Kill Taker a close second.

That shining eyed little gentleman asked one question and Ian pontificated his face off. It's like a kid with his brilliant, cantankerous grandfather. Gotta love Ian. Always authentically himself.

My vote is whichever one Guy sings on the least.

Great band but Goddamn, I can not stand his vocals.

Surprised to see KIll taker on top with such margin.

It's quite possibly my second fave after The Argument.

Most people I've ever met go with Repeater or 13 songs.

End Hits I love the production but it's possible their weakest from a songwriting perspective.

huh I'm the opposite there. Ian's voice gets a little Sea Shanty for me a lot of the time.

^^^^ That is a perfect description and I agree. I can see where Guy's vocals aren't someone's cup of tea but I've always liked them. In either case, like them or not, they both have instantly recognizable voices, and that's not crap.
