Yeah, that's right: Both Ulan Bator and Les Thugs had some real moments. Had not thought about either's music in decades. Although I did accidentally end up meeting one of the Thugs at a natural-wine bar, maybe six or eight years ago. Good bands.

I went through a pretty heavy French/Italian screamo phase.
My band played with these guys and KEN Mode and they were brilliant.

I saw Elli and Jacno mentioned already, but Stinky Toys was a major influence on the Sex Pistols....also that Jacno synth record is great.
I will confess to liking the first Justice album.

FYI: Few days ago, picked up an orange Elli & Jacno tee using the magic of the internet. Likely a bootleg, unfortunately, but that it was even available made it hard to pass up.
