After going down that rabbit hole and doing some digging, I think that's overblown. That tag came from a public back and forth with Devi Ever, who later proved to be something of a monster herself. And that he clones circuits (everybody does now). And ties to a shitty church he once used to attend. He's definitely super Christian though.

I think there’s a lot of difference between cloning a Fuzz Face or Tube Screamer and cloning a current builder’s design. Devi ripping off her crowdfunding backers doesn’t make it OK to rip her off, unless you’re one of those backers trying to recover your investment. But in this case, I think it just puts the JHS guy in the same bad people boat with her. On the other hand, I’m pretty sure her pedals all had like, 4 components in them. Maybe it was an accident

The Punkifier is obviously the best DOD distortion pedal. Absolutely disgusting thing, everything about it. It’s perfect.

I confused it with the Gonkulator and it can’t be changed without deleting everyone’s votes.
