I think I need to relent and just keep an instrument and a practice amp or practice pad up here to noodle/tap on between tasks.
This is what I did when I was in Chicago working remote, and it was one of the most prolific writing times I've had, and the most proficient I've ever gotten on guitar.

Never got in the habit during the last two years of working remote, and really need to change that.

It's kind of amazing he got it so right on the first production guitar. Would have been PERFECT if you could have adjusted the damn truss rod without it being a minor pain in the ass. It kind of sucks you have to remove the bridge to swap the bridge pickup too, but I do love the sound that flimsy bridge adds.
Yeah, but gotta give the dude credit. Got like 98% of the way there on attempt #1.
Gotta admit all this Telecaster talk is getting me hot for my new Tele to arrive on Tue.

Anyway, any amp that has more than 6 knobs, I am like, pffftttt.

The mid EQ can go. I’m going to begin either diming mine or keeping it at noon and just letting bass and treble fight it out for the right sound.

I’ve heard lots of people say this but I’ve played Strats for about 20 years and never had an issue with the volume knob. The lack of tone control for the bridge pickup however - WHY. (I know it’s an easy mod).

Also positions 2 & 4 on a 5 way switch. No.
