It's kind of amazing he got it so right on the first production guitar. Would have been PERFECT if you could have adjusted the damn truss rod without it being a minor pain in the ass. The mid EQ can go. I’ve heard lots of people say this but I’ve played Strats for about 20 years and never had an issue with the volume knob. The lack of tone control for the bridge pickup however - WHY.
