The most unrestrained Not Crap I will ever give. Beside my feeling that most of their songs and most of the albums in which those songs are contained are fantastic, they have, for the 11 years that I have been going to their shows, provided some of the most adventurous, stylistically varied live performances I could imagine. Plus, they convinced a bunch of old Nashville session players to go on the road for an extended tour. Finally, Claude Coleman is a force behind the drumset.
If it wasn't for landlords, there would have been no Karl Marx.

Angus Jung wrote:"Twelve Country Greats" and they only put 10 songs on it! That is so GENIUS! Bwa ha ha ha hahaahahaahaaaahaahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Umm, it's a reference to the number of "country great" Nashville session musicians that joined them for the album.

I watched some of that Live in Chicago dvd a while back.

Pretty crappy.

No where near the Ween that I remember back in the day. I think they've gone "clean" now, or something.

Their songs, without that ridiculous druggy-haze, are nowhere near as fulfilling.

On the contrary, I think it says something that those songs originally recorded by 2 stoned kids on a 4-track can be played by a full band 15 years later and sound so good.
