Kenny Hickey pointed out that "Into The Void" was Peter's favorite guitar part, and that they came up with the bridge guitar part(about 5:51) in "Black No. 1(Little Miss Scare-All) when they tried to come up with spin on the "Into The Void" part that was not totally obvious...
Been on a Chrome kick lately and it seems to me they be one of the most ripped off/lifted bands in indie rock. I'm talking about their recordings from 1976-1983 or so.

Granted.. their first 2-3 albums are pretty much Ron Asheton riffs run through lots of effects.

The self-titled debut EP by The Flaming Lips is Chromey in parts.
