Yeah.. this gets to me more than some cheesy band in matching skinny ties at this point. If you don't care enough to try with your own band why should others. The worst/most 'recent' offender was a guy with a potato bass, shorts, sandals, sitting on the edge of the stage. I went outside for their set.handsbloodyhands wrote: Thu Aug 11, 2022 11:04 am Half the band dressed to kill and the other half dressed to grocery shop. Typically the noise coming from the stage sounds that way too.

222 guys in hemmed denim shorts with their printed dragon t-shirts tucked into them, pulled up white socks and New Balance. 2 guys in untucked stained shirts, cargo shorts, and either Crocs or those sandals that are also hiking boots.handsbloodyhands wrote: Thu Aug 11, 2022 11:04 am Half the band dressed to kill and the other half dressed to grocery shop.
Would this band sound like a low budget Liquid Tension Experiment, or a low budget Dying Fetus? You won’t know until you see the stick bass.
Re: Bands with a unified visual aesthetic.
23Why one or the other and not both? 24My favorite might be the Nudie suits....
It can also work when they knowingly look opposite, like The Sparks or Cheap Trick.
It's already been mentioned, but I love GEAR coordination...

26If I'd expressed myself more effectively, you'd be puking at the sandals that are also hiking boots. I've known these dudes. They stink.ChudFusk wrote: Fri Aug 12, 2022 2:14 pmI'm both laughing and puking at thisKrev wrote: Thu Aug 11, 2022 3:54 pmWhy one or the other and not both?
