Yeah, I had the Alembic for a bit, and couldn't get it to sound as good as my Bassman head. Figure trying to load box w/ a line out would be at least worth it to hear how it sounds w/ the line out going to a power amp. Saw a former forum member on IG do something similar w/ a 60 watt Sunn head so they could get more volume for bass live.

which Bassman head do you have? some are of a different circuit than what's in the Alembic.

which Bassman head do you have? some are of a different circuit than what's in the Alembic.

AA864, pretty much just use the normal channel (and the bass channel was modded to a JTM45-ish thing a while back).
